Dusty Bin Finds

Here's a few I found in a dirty old, cave-like place filled with tens of thousands (200K?) of 12" DJ mixes, 7" throwaways, signed sleeves, shelves over-burdened by Gary Numan and surf rock, Sixties, vocal groups, soundtracks, and yeah . . . booze crates just overflowing with un-priced promo 12 inches.

Phirpo y sus Caribes - "Parilla Caliente"

A little dirty disco-dance funk from the Southern Hemisphere.  Also, bikinis.

P.S. $499.00 for the original press at Discogs, now, that *IS* dirty!

Inaugural Post!

It's that time of the year, but I'm won't go in for politics here on Dirty Vinyl Collecting.  It's bad enough that my friends' Spacebook wall posts ("newsfeed", whatever) are bogged-down by entreaties to endorse one or the other side and join, and I just don't wanna do it.  Burnt out, in fact.

But this old local ditty reminds me that it's time, once again, to queue up, and while this other one ain't local, it's old-ish and espouses a similar take, tho' with a different tone (and much less of the dance-funk vibe):

Sorry that this first post is so amateurish and "meh...", but I'm just testing the water over here!

I'll get better at this with time : )
